I can't even put into words how disgusted I was with my appointment yesterday. She made a determination on my treatment based on medications that I don't even take. I don't take all of the meds in the list that my dentist sent. But the last at the front desk refused to take the list I made. I don't take sleeping pills. I was given them while I was in the hospital LAST YEAR when I was in the hospital and I have never taken them again. Never. But she was so hot to push me out of the office because it was almost lunch time that she wouldn't even give me a chance to explain that to her. Her disgusting remark was, and I quote, "There are several issues to doing the anesthesia and obesity is your first problem." I have spent more of the past 4 years taking Prednisone for my health issues than I have spent not taking it. I would like to see her not gain any weight after taking Prednisone for four years. Her nasty comment was meant to hurt and humiliate me and it worked. I didn't say a word the whole way home. And I had to go to my bedroom several times to cry because, believe me, I am disgusted with myself enough without some nasty doctor heaping it on top of me. Then she had to check with my neurologist as if my dentist and I were lying about already getting his approval. I think it's hilarious that when I called to cancel that I was told that she wanted to talk to me. I don't care what she had to say. There was no way I was going to have a procedure done that was going to terrify me, due to my fear of going to the dentist, by someone who would treat me like that. My fear would have been increased ten fold. I wouldn't let her brush my teeth, never mind give me anesthesia or laughing gas to perform a procedure. I am going to file a formal complaint against her. The way she treats people is disgusting because I know that I'm not the only one that she has spoken to. She is the most unprofessional medical "professional" I have ever met.
